Women in Tourism Gold Coast donates to not-for-profit organisations across the Gold Coast with funds raised from the raffle sales at our events.

With the generosity of our industry who donate the prizes, we donate much needed funds to our fellow Gold Coasters every year.

Some of the charities we have proudly supported in the past include:

OzHarvest was founded in 2004 by Ronni Kahn AO, after noticing the huge volume of food going to waste from her events business. Ronni did not set out to start a charity, rather just fix an obvious problem with a simple solution. Starting with one van in Sydney, she began rescuing food and delivering it to local charities.

Cancer Council Queensland has been a steadfast advocate in cancer research and support since 1961. Every 20 minutes, a new cancer diagnosis is made in Queensland, highlighting the critical importance of their work. They focus on improving lives through dedicated research, compassionate support, and proactive early detection, all fueled by a committed team, volunteers, and generous donors. They operate across the state, providing essential services and creating a community of care for those affected by cancer.

RizeUp Australia is a pioneering national organisation dedicated to supporting families affected by domestic and family violence. Working alongside domestic violence agencies, RizeUp provides practical support and awareness, empowering families to rebuild lives free from violence. Recognised for their integral role in the recovery process, RizeUp collaborates with top support services to amplify their impact. They are a voice for the silent, propelled by a passionate team committed to addressing the critical challenge of domestic violence in our community.
