We will only collect this information with your consent or where otherwise permitted by law, and only for the purpose for which it was provided. The Privacy Act places additional limits on handling sensitive information.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps may include secure digital systems, password protection, restricted access and secure third-party platforms.
If personal information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to destroy it or de-identify it, subject to any legal record-keeping requirements. Australian Privacy Principle 11 deals with security and destruction or de-identification of personal information.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Australian Privacy Principles 12 and 13 provide for access and correction rights where the Privacy Act applies.
